Case Study – Newhall Solar PV Install

With a clear objective to make a positive impact on the environment and embrace sustainable practices, Newhall Janitorial, the largest specialist distributor of cleaning and hygiene products in South Wales, appointed us to install a Solar PV system at their head office in Cardiff.

By working closely with the Newhall team, we were able to understand the energy needs of the business and recommend the best system to meet those needs.

The 26kW system we installed included:
►72 x 370w solar panels
►3 x 15.8kW PV batteries
►10kW battery charge controller.

From start to finish, the project took less than a month and not only is the firm now saving money on its overheads by using a self-sustaining power source, but they are well on the way to achieving their target of becoming carbon neutral by the end of 2025.

So much so, that we are discussing a follow-up project to install LED lights within the warehouse area to further reduce their energy usage.

If you would like to discuss renewable energy systems for your business, or if you have systems installed and need a professional, experienced team to maintain or upgrade the system, please contact:
